The COG Token (City of Gold) was launched on Binance Smart Chain in 2022 by H4U Co., founded by Lyman. Its goal was to create a socially equitable token economy where every transaction could fund public good. The tokenomics allocated a portion of every transaction—5% to holders, 8% to housing initiatives, 2% burn—for systemic homelessness relief. Proceeds were to be distributed among Denver nonprofits and city programs. This crypto-social integration followed a larger pattern in Lyman’s work: marrying financial technology with activism.
